ITINERARY
Day by Day
Day One: Departure
Board for your flight from the USA to Israel. This will be an overnight flight, arriving the next day to Tel Aviv.
Day Two: Welcome to The Holy Land!
After landing at Ben Gurion Airport, reception and assistance, we drive to our hotel for check in. Welcome dinner and orientation session.

Day Three: In the Footsteps of Yeshua in the Holy City
We begin on the Mount of Olives (Matthew 24:3), with its panoramic view of the walled city of Jerusalem. Entering the Old City, we will walk along the Via Dolorosa and visit the Pool of Bethesda (John 5:2). Continuing through the Jewish Quarter of the Old City you will arrive at the Western Wall and the Southern Steps, ending the day at the amazing site of the newly excavated City of David.

Day Four: Samaria
Today we drive through the beautiful and historic Samaria, which served as the capital of the Kingdom of Israel for over 150 years. We then visit in turn the biblical sites of Beth-El where Abraham built the first altar, Shiloh where the Tabernacle resided for over 300 years, and Elon Moreh where God spoke to Abraham and declared this was the land for His people (Gen 12:6-7). Before returning to Jerusalem we stop at Nebi Samuel, traditionally known as the final resting place of the Prophet Samuel.

Day Five: Judean Wilderness and Dead Sea
We travel this morning to the lowest part of the earth! We will visit the mountain fortress of Masada, the historical last stand of the Jewish zealots against the mighty Roman army. At the Ein Gedi Oasis, we will learn about David and King Saul and hike to the hidden waterfalls before continuing on to Qumran, where many of the Dead Sea Scrolls were written and later found. We will end the day with a swim at the Dead Sea.

Day Six: Jerusalem
Today we visit the Israel Museum to explore the Dead Sea Scrolls and the famous model of the Second Temple of Jerusalem from the times of Jesus. Continue onto the Holocaust Memorial Museum at Yad Vashem and a visit to the seven candle candelabra by the Knesset, Israel’s Parliament. We end our day in communion and worship at the Garden Tomb (John 19:38-42), located in the heart of historic Jerusalem, just outside the Old City walls. On site there is an ancient Jewish tomb which many believe is the site of Jesus’ burial and resurrection.

Day Seven: Land of the Philistines
We start the day visiting Bethlehem (Luke 2:4) and the Shepherds’ Fields. At the Elah Valley (1 Samuel 21:9) we will read about David’s encounter with Goliath, and then travel on to Tel Beth Shemesh (Joshua 15:10) overseeing the Soreq Valley where we remember the return of the Holy Ark from the Philistine captivity and the birth of Samson. Driving through Valley of Ayalon to Tel Aviv we will arrive at the Mediterranean Coast, in time for a walk through the historic city of Old Jaffa.

Day Eight: Coast of Galilee
We begin our day at the ancient Herodian port city Caesarea (Acts 8:40), before ascending to Mount Carmel where Elijah battled the Gods of Baal. We continue to Tel Megiddo and the Valley of Armageddon (Joshua 12:21), the site of a magnificent fortified city built by King David, and an underground water cistern. We drive through Nazareth and Cana to the Sea of Galilee, where Jesus spent the most amount of his time here in ministry.

Day Nine: Footsteps of Yeshua in Galilee
We begin the day by discovering the remains of a 2,000-year-old fishing boat known as “The Jesus Boat” at the Yigal Alon Museum. We will head towards the Mount of Beatitudes (Matthew 5:1-12) where “The Sermon on the Mount” was given. We make our way to Chorazin (Luke 10:13), one of the cities where Jesus taught and site of an ancient synagogue. From there to Capernaum (Matthew 4:13) a fishing village on the shores of the Sea of Galilee where Jesus preached and healed. Crossing to the other side of the Sea to “Kursi” (Matthew 8:28-34), the archeological site containing the ruins of a Byzantine monastery and identified by tradition as the site of Jesus’ “Miracle of the Swine.” To close out or day we will enjoy a boat ride before sunset.

Day Ten: South of the Sea of Galilee
We begin our day with an ascension up the epic Arbel Cliff for a breathtaking view of the Sea of Galilee. Afterwards we drive to the Yardenit Baptismal site, where the Sea of Galilee empties into the Jordan River. Robes and changing facilities are provided for those wishing to be baptized. We continue south towards Mount Tabor (Matthew 17:1-2) and visit the Ein-Harod spring, also known as “Gideon’s Spring” (Judges 7:1-7) and view Mount Gilboa (1 Samuel 28:4) before arriving for a tour of the remains of the site of Beit She’an (1 Chronicles 7:29).

Day Eleven: Northern Reaches of the Promised Land
A nature walk thru Tel Dan reserve leads us to the famous site of Jeroboam’s Alter (1 King 12:32). Continuing on to the springs and archeological site of Caesarea Philippi (Matthew 16:13), where we will remember the Lord’s question to His disciples, “Who do you say that I am?” End our day with a drive up to the Golan Heights for a panoramic view of Israel’s northern borders. Transfer to the airport for the flight home!
