Board for your flight from the USA to Israel. This will be an overnight flight, arriving the next day to Tel Aviv.

After landing at Ben Gurion Airport, reception and assistance, we will drive to our hotel for check in. Tonight’s welcome dinner will be followed by an introductory session on Women in the Bible.

-Overnight in Tel Aviv

Today we visit Caesarea Maritima (Acts 8:40), Herod’s magnificent coastal city and the home of the four daughters of Philip. From there we ascend to Mount Carmel (1 King 18:42), where the Prophet Elijah challenged the prophets of Baal. Continue to Haifa to meet with local Messianic and Christian women serving the Lord in the land. As this day draws to a close, we drive through the Valley of Armageddon (Rev. 16:16) to Tiberias.

-Overnight in Tiberias

We begin this day at Magdala (Luke 8:1-3) on the shores of the Sea of Galilee, the hometown of Mary Magdalene. The site includes an ancient synagogue where it is believed the earliest Judeo-Christians worshipped and see the beautiful Duc In Altum chapel, a historical church built in the city of Magdala. It houses “The Women’s Atrium”, dedicated with 7 pillars for the women mentioned in the Gospels, and an 8th pillar devoted to every woman visiting the site. Nearby is the Yigal Alon Museum housing the 2000-year-old fishing boat, known as the “Jesus Boat”, found in the Sea of Galilee. We will pray and worship while sailing on the Sea of Galilee (Matthew 14:25) in a wooden boat. In the afternoon we visit Capernaum (Matthew 4:13) and Tabgha (Mark 6:30), the traditional site where Jesus fed the multitudes.

-Overnight in Tiberias

Today we travel to Nazareth (Luke 4:16-21), pausing at Mt. Precipice, with its amazing view over the Jezreel Valley (Joshua 17:16), also known as the Plain of Esdraelon, where tradition says the Prophetess Deborah inspired the victory over the Canaanites and Sisera’s army. Tour the Nazareth Biblical Village, which has faithfully recreated daily life in the time of Jesus. From there, travel south along the Jordan Valley towards the Dead Sea. We will check into a hotel on the shores of the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth and indulge in spa treatments (the charge for this is not included in the group cost).

This morning we will enjoy a dip in the famed waters of the Dead Sea before breakfast and check out. Next we ascend Masada by cable car, the epic mountain top fortress, where Herod built yet another one of his opulent palaces. On the drive towards Jerusalem we visit Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. Afterwards on our drive to Jerusalem, we pass Bethany, before experiencing the first view of the Ancient City from Mount Scopus.

We begin the morning on the Mount of Olives (Matthew 24:3), for a panoramic view of the Old City of Jerusalem, prior to descending towards the Garden of Gethsemane (Luke 22:40) for prayer and meditation in the ancient olive groves. We will walk along the Way of the Cross, visiting the Church of St. Anne and the Pool of Bethesda (John 5:2). We will also visit the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, the site of the crucifixion, then continue through the winding alleyways of the Old City towards the Zion Gate. Here, on Mount Zion (Isaiah 24:23), we visit the Upper Room (Mark 14:15), the tomb of King David and the Church of St. Peter in Gallicantu. In the evening we will meet with Messianic and Christian women who live and serve in the city. After dinner, we have the option of viewing the spectacular Sound and Light Show at the Tower of David Museum.

-Overnight in Jerusalem

Today we travel back to the beginnings of Ancient Jerusalem at the City of David site where ongoing excavations are revealing thousands of years of history, including Hezekiah’s tunnel. Continue to the Southern Steps, where pilgrims ascended to the Temple in the time of Jesus. There will be free time for lunch in the Old City market before visiting Bethlehem (Luke 2:4) and the Church of the Nativity. En route, drive by the tomb of the Matriarch Rachel. This evening we meet with local Christians over dinner together at Beit Al Liqa in Bethlehem.

-Overnight in Jerusalem

The morning begins with a visit to the Israel Museum, home of the Dead Sea Scrolls and the impressive model of the Second Temple period. We will also take a special tour of the section of the museum dedicated to early Christianity in the Holy Land, and through the extensive costume exhibition. Lunch today is chosen from the selection of local stands at the Malcha Mall. In the afternoon we will visit the village of Ein Kerem (Luke 1:39), traditional birthplace of John the Baptist. Here Mary visited her cousin Elizabeth and the site is marked by Mary’s Spring.

-Overnight in Jerusalem

On the last day of the tour we visit Temple Mount (Genesis 22:2), where Jewish tradition holds that it is the site where God gathered dust to create Adam and where Abraham was going to sacrifice Isaac. We then go under the Old City on the Western Wall Tunnels Tour, allowing visitors to reach the segments of the Wall hidden from view, and to walk through ancient and exquisite archeological findings. We’ll then partake in communion and worship at the Garden Tomb (John 19:38-42) located in the heart of historic Jerusalem, just outside the Old City walls. On site there is an ancient Jewish tomb which many believe is the site of Jesus’ burial and resurrection. Afterwards we’ll head to Ben Gurion Airport for our flight home!
